What muscle groups are most important to work out in martial arts and how do you condition them?
Q. I know that abs are probably the single most important group because of the use of the core in most, if not all, martial arts moves. I've heard that the forearms are very important to develop too. But what other muscle groups are priority? I know that it's different than a lot of other sports conditioning. Tiredofit, your answer was immature and unnecessary. A. It is hard to define the exact muscle groups, as many engage to make an awesome fighter. The most exact answer would have to be the "Core muscles". If your core is strong you can do much as you will be both stable and very strong in most situations. Let me explain: Suppose that you are fighting another competitor, and he tries to twist and throw you to the mat. You resist by sprawling, using your abdominal, back, and legs to resist his movements. You then shove him against the cage wall, and while applying underhooks (securing him) you deliver powerful Thai knee strikes to his abdomininals, and ribs. What are some online support groups for people with depression/bipolar disorder?
Q. I've heard that there are onlne support groups for people who have been diagnosed with a mental illness such as depression or bipolar disorder. If you have any recommendations, please let me know. I think an online group might help me relieve some of my feelings of isolation when I am alone. I know that an in-person type of group might be beneficial as well, but I'd like to start slowly.

How does an isomorphism between two groups relate to the center of the two groups in question?
Q. If two groups have different centers does that imply that they are not isomorphic? What is in the center of D6 (the dihedral group of the hexagon)?

A. let f:G->H be an isomorphism let x be in Center(G) then f(x) is in Center(H) Proof. let h be in H, let g = f^-1(h) then h f(x) = f(g)f(x) = f(gx) = f(xg) = f(x)f(g) = f(x)h. now let y be in Center(H) then f^-1(y) is in Center(G) proof: let g be in G, x = f^-1(y) f(gx) = f(g)f(x) = f(g)y = yf(g) = f(x)f(g) = f(xg) therefore f(Center(G)) = Center(H) therefore 2 groups with non-isomorphic centers are not isomorphic D6 is generated by x = rotation by pi/6 and y which is reflection. the only non-trivial rotation that is commutative with reflection is 3x = rotation through pi degrees. So the center is (0, 3x)
